The Mission House is a 3,000 square foot historic Victorian house located in downtown Montgomery at 461 S Court Street.

Rooms that already look the part.
Dark floors, tall windows, a working fireplace and lamplight. The rooms take decoration well and photograph better, so a simple table setting carries an evening without a great deal of dressing.

The house has hosted Downtown Thursday night jazz and blues, presented by the DBA with support from the Alabama State Council on the Arts.

Commerce Collective pop-up events have filled the rooms and the patio with local makers and small businesses.
Poetry readings and cultural evenings
Readings and cultural programming sit naturally in the parlour, where the fireplace and the tall windows do most of the work.
